Principal's Message 4/15/16

Dear Canyon View Families,

Testing week is behind us and I want to thank everyone for ensuring that your child arrived at school on time and was prepared to do their best.  Testing week always serves as a reminder that the school year is quickly coming to an end, and it’s hard to believe that we only have 23 school days left in the year!

As we are already planning for next year, if you have not yet completed Online Registration, please register your student(s) for school as soon as possible.  Our staffing each year is dependent upon enrollment numbers, and by our calculations only about 50% of our families have registered their child(ren) for the 16-17 school year.  We appreciate you making this a priority.

Please read this message in its entirety before you begin the registration process for your child(ren).

1. Only one parent should complete the online registration process for each student.
2. Returning families: PLEASE use your existing ParentVUE accounts for Online Registration. DO NOT create a new account.
3. New-to-district families: Please complete the online registration process only once for a student unless the district or the school directs you to complete it again.
4. Follow this link to register your child(ren): CFSD Online Registration

Finally, I want to thank all of our amazing volunteers who have helped us throughout the year.  Whether you were able to volunteer in the classroom or help out during one of our many school-wide events, we are sincerely grateful for your contributions and your unwavering commitment to our children! A special thank you goes out to our dedicated FFO executive board and to ALL of our amazing parents and staff members who helped to make tonight’s Spring Carnival a smashing success!  School-wide events like this cannot happen without the support of our entire school community, and I encourage each and every one of our parents to consider volunteering in some capacity next year.  Thank you!

Have a great weekend!

Sincerely,

Rob Henikman
